Whilst living in Australia, artist Songshi Li saw connections to the ancient Tang and Song dynasty of China in Australia’s unique and distinct environment—even in urban settings. Mr. Songshi Li finds himself communicating with the people from the Tang and Song dynasty as he fills his works with ink and pigment, through traditional Chinese techniques he aims to fuse together the breathtaking Australian landscape with ancient Chinese history.
Artist Songshi Li has held many exhibitions in Australia, his work being approbated by local residents and community members, and his artworks are sought by art collectors, local city councils across Sydney and the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Sydney. His paintings have been acclaimed in Chinese and International events and has received multiple awards.
